The minimalistic floor lamp Lederam F1 is a perfect example of pure design and innovative technology. Lederam embodies the accuracy of the motion required to draw a line. The warm, softly coloured disks surround a LED module with an ultra-flat shape, which creates thin lamps and suspended forms with curved, sinuous lines.

Shadow is a piece of metal cloth suspended in space and illuminated by a LED. Darkness surrounds the shadow of the cloth. Sheer simplicity.

“I wanted to create a lamp that bore the name of my daughter Giulia.It therefore had to be elegant, simple, discreet and gentle. This is why it took shape this way…” says Enzo Catellani. The slender, graceful structure of the Giulietta F makes it compatible with many living spaces and concepts. The structural details of the light flow smoothly into one. In the middle of the square foot, which owes its understated elegance to the nickel-plated surface finish, the fine, also nickel-plated rack bar extends upward. This goes into a black lacquered flexible arm and eventually leads us to the source of the enchanting light, the round head, resembling the shape of a disc. Elegant and minimalist, Light Stick F is an extremely pure floor lamp. LED white offer a lighting at once strong and indirect, because the light is spread in the direction of the wall. “I was at the Frankfurt Trade Fair, presenting my new collection developed using LED circuits. I saw a Japanese lady pointing at my lamps and repeatedly saying “wa wa”. I went towards her and when I curiously asked her the reason, she told me “wa” meant “perfect”. I was touched and thanked her; I looked at the lamp, which was still nameless, and decided to call it “Wa Wa”. With the Wa Wa F, Enzo Catellani created a very special lighting object for Catellani & Smith. The entirely handcrafted Wa Wa F convinced us with its purist design. Each time it was switched on, it enchanted everyone with its special, magical atmosphere.

Lucenera was developed from a simple concept: taking the limelight off the lamp and giving centre stage to the light, depending on the subject illuminated. To achieve this, Enzo Catellani used a carbon tube and flexible support. The shape is the simplest one possible; the object is the utmost in versatility. Lucenera 207 was designed according to the form follows function principle. This light consists in a stem that contains a thermoplastic material making it pliable in its middle part. The upper and lower parts of the stem are rigid and made of nickeled steel pieces. Below it is fixed on the square rubber coated base of the lamp whereas above it holds the diffuser of the Lucenera. With the help of the flexible stem it is by the way possible to direct the light beam as you like it.
