Description

Designed in 1983 by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis, the Menhir collection takes inspiration from the stone monoliths typical of the British Isles and France, considered the archetype of the column. The design of the base was born from this expressive research, consisting of a steel column and marble spools of different finishes and shapes placed one on top of the other. The current re-edition maintains the shape of the drums unchanged and features more contemporary finishes, with opaque marbles and new lacquered tops in colors that recall a gritty late 1960s imagery and evoke the company’s heritage. Bases and Tops System of small tables and consoles characterized by the versatility of use and combination of the various shapes, as well as dimensions and materials. The base is made of epoxy powder coated steel in a black matte finish, available in the heights: 36.2 – 42.5 – 48.8 for the tables and 80.2 for the consoles.
